在过洞和土隔墙上清理出的棚木，表面皆发现一层厚约二至十厘米的青灰泥，细腻坚硬，其作用当为预防渗水和棚木的腐朽。

过洞と仕切り壁の上で整理された棚木(桁)の表面では、厚さ2—10cmの青灰泥层が発见された。きめ细かく、硬くて、水浸や棚木朽ちを防止する役割を果たしたのであろう。
The Grey Mud
A sheet of 2-10cm thick grey mud was found even on all the surface of the roof beams.The material is so fine and hard that it is considered to be used as the waterproof layer to prevent the roof beams from getting rotten.
